Privacy Policy
This policy describes the information DeskPeto handles during registration, ordering, companion generation, download, and community sharing, and how that information is used and protected.

Scope and controller
This policy applies to deskpeto.com and the DeskPeto account, ordering, generation, download, and public-sharing features. DeskPeto determines why and how personal information is processed for these services. Payment providers independently process payment and compliance information under their own policies.
Information we collect
We may collect your email, display name, language preference, sign-in and session data; uploaded images, internal companion names, style choices, generated results, and sharing settings; order number, amount, currency, payment status, and refund status; information sent to support; and device, browser, IP address, access time, and activity logs used for security and diagnostics.
Sources and purposes
Information comes primarily from you, is generated as you use the service, or is returned by payment and identity providers. We use it to create and secure accounts, send verification codes, process orders, confirm payment, generate and deliver companion resources, provide progress notices, save preferences, handle refunds and support requests, and detect fraud, abuse, and technical failures.
Payment data
Payment providers such as Waffo directly collect the payment, billing, tax, risk, and identity-verification information needed on their hosted checkout pages and process it under their privacy policies. DeskPeto normally receives only what is needed to fulfill an order, such as a transaction identifier, amount, currency, payment status, refund status, and limited billing information. We do not store a complete card number or security code.
Providers, disclosure, and international processing
We may use cloud infrastructure, email, identity, payment, content safety, generation, storage, and error-monitoring providers, sharing only what each provider needs for its task. Providers may process data outside your country or region. We may also disclose necessary information to comply with law, protect users and service security, or complete a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and local storage
We use necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, save language preferences, protect sessions, and restore the creation flow. Payment or identity providers may use necessary cookies on their pages. If we later add analytics or advertising tracking, we will update this policy and provide choices where required.
Retention and security
Account information is generally kept while the account remains active. Uploads, generated results, and packages are kept as needed for preview, download, support, and user-requested deletion. Order, refund, risk, and security records are retained as needed for disputes, audits, and legal obligations. We use HttpOnly cookies, access controls, encryption in transit, and activity logs to reduce unauthorized access risk, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
Public sharing and children
Newly generated companions are private by default. A work appears in the shared gallery only after you choose to share it; its name, preview, style, and related public information may then be visible. Do not publicly share work containing another person’s sensitive information. DeskPeto is not directed to people under 18. If you are below the age required to enter a contract where you live, a guardian must consent and assist you.
Your choices and rights
You can update profile and language preferences, withdraw public sharing, and email support@deskpeto.com to request access, correction, export, deletion of relevant personal information, account deletion, or an explanation of processing. We will verify identity before acting. Some order, financial, risk, or security records may need to remain for legal obligations or legitimate disputes.
Updates and contact
